Recently, the Solar Ark 3.0 team of Southeast University, together with the ninth generation new energy multi energy complementary capacity building, went to Zhangjiakou, the host city of the Winter Olympics, to participate in the 2021 China International Solar Decathlon Competition.

The International Solar Decathlon ("SD" for short) is a global outstanding scientific and technological innovation event for college students, which enjoys the double reputation of "Olympic" solar energy and "World Expo" green housing. The 2021 China International Solar Decathlon Competition is a scientific competition dedicated to green buildings and solar energy technology applications authorized by the United States Department of Energy, sponsored by the China Industrial Overseas Development Association (China International Solar Decathlon Competition Organizing Committee), and hosted by the Zhangjiakou Municipal Government of Hebei Province. Fifteen teams from thirty universities in ten countries around the world will focus on the three major themes of "sustainable development, smart connectivity, and human health", and spend 20 days building a high-performance full-size house powered by clean energy, and put it into use.

As an excellent enterprise of prefabricated interior decoration, Keyi always pays attention to the new energy-saving buildings and interior decoration in China. In this competition, Keyi reached friendly cooperation with Southeast University, gave full play to the respective advantages of universities and enterprises, organically combined industry, education and research, coordinated allocation of resources, and jointly completed the design, construction, operation and display of the competition house "Sunshine Ark 3.0". When completed, the house will become a supporting room for the Winter Olympics, Stay locally.

The Solar Ark 3.0 team will build a high-performance house with complementary scenery in this competition, as well as a small energy sharing station. It will build a Zero-energy building with a full life cycle and help the dual carbon goal. During the competition, Keyi Bathroom was fortunate enough to be selected as an independent module for the overall bathroom application in this project, and a technical team was appointed to install and debug the overall bathroom, ensuring the smooth progress of the competition.
In this competition, the overall bathroom provided by Keyi integrates numerous features, both in the installation and construction process, and in the subsequent use process, it has overcome various drawbacks of traditional bathrooms and caters to the current green demand of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", which coincides with the goal spirit of the Solar Ark 3.0 team's "LESS CARBON, BETTER LIFE!".

Long lifespan
SMC, a common material for the whole bathroom chassis, is a polymer composite material with a unique wear-resistant surface process and tight molecular structure, which can last for 20-30 years.

Fast construction
The overall bathroom of Keyi adopts dry construction method and is installed in a "LEGO" style, without the need for cement mortar. Factory prefabricated production of components, on-site assembly installation, convenient and fast, high construction efficiency, only 2 people, 4 hours, can complete the installation of a complete bathroom, greatly shortening the overall decoration period, saving time and efficiency.

Excellent performance
The decorative materials of the Keyi overall bathroom are rich, with good performance of SMC, color steel plate, and ceramic thin plate, which are moisture-proof, moldy proof, and not easily deformed. In addition, the waterproof chassis of the bathroom is made of SMC material, and the surface is treated with scientific methods, which can effectively organize heat dissipation and provide a warm texture. It not only prevents slipping, insulation, and collision, but also can massage both feet.

Green and low-carbon
The materials selected for the overall bathroom of Keyi are all green and environmentally friendly, free from harmful gases, radioactive radiation pollution, low-carbon and pollution-free, and can be installed and used immediately. The Construction waste generated in the construction process is far less than the traditional decoration, effectively reducing waste pollution and Noise pollution.

The strong collaboration between Keyi and Dongda Solar Ark 3.0 team is not only a successful case of industry university research cooperation, but also fully reflects the flourishing development of ecological architecture and interior decoration today. Based on the principles of complementary advantages, mutual benefit, and common development, both parties jointly contribute to the green, intelligent, diverse, and artistic prefabricated interior design. Through international competitions, more people can learn about the new technological achievements in the prefabricated industry. In the current era of advocating low-carbon living worldwide, prefabricated integrated bathrooms will gradually become the trend. Keyi has been deeply engaged in the prefabricated interior decoration industry for many years, and has understood the great significance of developing prefabricated integrated bathrooms. It will take this international competition for industry university research cooperation as a starting point, continue to explore low-carbon and energy-saving green bathrooms, use continuous innovative technologies, reduce energy consumption and decoration pollution, help achieve the "dual carbon" goal, and create a better future.
